Fitness motivation

Hi everyone

Today I thought to tell you about how to keep going in a area most of us struggle with and that is a exercise or fitness programme, well firstly you will be so dedicated that all you want to do is keep on going
there may be times you feel man why do I even bother, Ill do it later and never get round to doing anything
but trust me - We all will go through various moods and try think of many excuses not to carry on with it
I can talk from personal experience as Im doing a intense workout programme for 90 days
which consists of strict waking up each morning 5-40 and getting going, I do have 2 youngs boys myself sometimes they wake up and moan, cry and groan there are even times I can only do half my workout but I do them because I want to do it

That is what I believe, every person should be ready for it....for me my most dropping moment was when I took photos of myself and saw I can change, I am not happy looking at them they actually made me burst in tears which made me realise how badly I want to change
so before you start any programme find out WHY, find out if you are ready, dedicated, motivated and serious other wise you may fall of the wagon and regret even starting anything

There may even be people who try discourage you from doing the workouts, people may even say why are you bothering - to be honest, just listen to your own heart and feelings and just do it

Ill try post some more things about fitness but until then think of your why and get realy thinking personally it should make you want it so bad youll do it regardless of excuses

My Weight Loss Journey to date: Some daily motivation when things get tough

WHEN THINGS GET TOUGH...

Hi all, thought to discuss when things get tough... how to cope? firstly, well done on all your achievements that you have done so far, ...

Weight loss is not something to look at lightly it is a journey I do believe everyone has a different one and for some it is far more easier than others, some are born with it and others well they have to work a little harder unfortunately : (

I also now have taken some time to think about what I would like to tell you all
I know when I attended a certain group how it felt being put down when all I wanted was support and help and answers on how they are finding it so easy and me struggling deep down my thoughts were always on food - I find out I am a comfort eater and that is such a hard thing to cope with in itself I wish I could just tell my mind to STOP and just do something different but it is super difficult

I have done some research lately and here is what I have found out about when things get a little tough for you or someone you know who is struggling

when you are wanting something sweet try eating chewing gum that is nice and strong
try drinking some water or diluted squash as sometimes you are actually not hungry but thirsty
try going for a walk or doing something to distract you if you can
when watching a film, keep healthy snacks at hand ie carrot sticks etc
try eating something sour ie a gherkin

I have tried all of the above when my weight loss plans were up to standard and they did seem to help but my plan is to try again even when things are getting hard, I will now try again and see where I can go to get where I would like to xxx

Some daily motivation when things get tough

Hi all, thought to discuss when things get tough... how to cope?
firstly, well done on all your achievements that you have done so far, never underestimate the power of true commitment and hard work, its never easy starting a new routine or giving up on something which seems to be normal to you....

I must say that when things get tough always say the above,it may seem a little silly at first but the power behind self talk is incredible as well as mind blowing, it can change your attitude on how we perceive and see things in our daily lives, take this for example if you keep on saying continually to yourself 'im so fat' what will your body look and feel like you may not realise that you can change it by saying 'i feel incredible' keep repeating these words as little or as often as you would like and you may feel the difference it makes to your self confidence.

You may not be at your ideal weight yet but give it chance,it does take about 4 weeks for people to notice difference in you, firstly what I would suggest you do is take a great before photo and measurements as bust, waist and hips you can do others ie arms, thighs and buttocks if you would like to take extra but very important to do this at least on a fortnight basis, you may see little changes like inch loss and very important dont always worry about what your scale says,to me that was always my main concern but now days I know inches is even better as your body will change shape, your clothes may start getting loser fitting and people will certainly start to notice the changes.

Dont forgett drink plenty of fluids but if you can water, this is extremely important as water will help you sustain your hunger, also before hitting the snacks try drinking water prior to just grabbing something you think may be necessary at the time but after eating it you feel terrible....

Some great tips for you to take on board:
1.Drink plenty of water daily and try drinking water prior to eating any meal
2.Eat 5 small meals a day
3.Eat slowly
4.Know your serving sizes
5.NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST
6.Cut down on alcohol consumption
7. Enrich your diet with fibre
8.Good posture - it strengthens your tummy muscles
9. Cut out the sweets
10. At least 5 servings of fruit and vegetables

I do hope these tips have helped you a little, I will try do a blog from time to time and do hope someone out there finds it inspiring and motivating

Until next time, Take care and take it easy and dont forget to smile and drink water xxx
